Manoa Falls Trail is a popular hiking trail located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The route offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the lush tropical vegetation of Manoa Valley and enjoy the beauty of the waterfall. 

According to Hawaiian folklore, the trail is often visited by nightmarchers. These ghostly warriors are said to belong to ancient Hawaiian chiefs and their presence in the rainforest is believed to be an omen of death.

Nightmarchers are accompanied by the sound of conch shells and the beating of war drums. The spirits typically trudge in procession to commemorate the dead and ensure safe passage to the afterlife. 

Sightings of nightmarchers are so frequent that Manoa Falls Trail has gained reputation as "one of the most noted ghost localities of the islands". The trail is open daily to brave explorers who wish to traverse the 833 foot elevation gain in search of a chance encounter with the afterlife.
