​Rustic Canyon is a residential enclave in West Los Angeles known for upscale housing and scenic views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

On July 3 and July 4, 2024, residents observed paranormal "cloud-like" entities traveling from the Pacific Coast through the canyon. The objects were reported to have shapeshifting and self-propelling capabilities while also featuring a blinking white light and soft luminescent glow.

Catalina Island is a rocky island off the coast of Southern California. The remote location "has long been considered a hotbed of UFO activity".

On July 8, 1947, dozens of military personnel and "hundreds of others" reported six "flying discs" traversing the island at 850 mph. Dozens of UFO sightings have been reported in the years since, leading many to believe there is a "huge undersea UFO base between Catalina and mainland".

The Thom Reed UFO Monument is site of a "historically true" alien encounter. On the evening of September 1, 1969, a saucer-like object was witnessed by 40 people in the sky above Sheffield, MA. 

Thom Reed was traveling with family when a "100-yard-long turtle shell" rose from the Housatonic River and transported them to an airplane hanger with "creatures resembling large insects".

A polygraph test later rendered Reed's story 99.1% truthful. As a result, the Great Barrington Historical Society voted 6-3 to recognize the event as “historically significant and true.”
