Fort Vancouver National Historic Site was headquarters for the Hudson Bay Company. Established in 1825, the trading post was essential to fur commerce along the Pacific Coast. In 1866, a fire destroyed the Fort and it was not rebuilt until 1965. Today, visitors today can view modern replica structures within the original fort footprint. Over the years, "paranormal phenomena have been reported here" including "strange glowing mists that move above the grounds". In 1993, a Native American exorcism was allegedly performed "to calm the restless spirits". Address: 1001 East 5th Street. Vancouver, WA.

Rosenheim Mansion, also known as the "Murder House," is a historic building located in Los Angeles, CA. The residence was built by architect Alfred Rosenheim in 1908 and has since served a popular filming location for horror projects including The Twilight Zone, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, and more. The first season of American Horror Story, retroactively titled "Murder House," was filmed onsite in 2011. The home recently sold for $3.2 million in 2015 and the sellers were subsequently sued for not disclosing the property was featured on American Horror Story, as fans frequently visit. La Quinta Resort & Club opened in 1926 and serves "as a longtime getaway for the famous" including Greta Garbo, Clark Gable, and Shirley Temple. As one of Coachella Valley’s oldest landmarks, the hotel is known for "various stories of mysterious disembodied voices calling out to guests and staff," including "an account of a spirit who mingled with guests until 4am". Rustic Canyon is a residential enclave in West Los Angeles known for upscale housing and scenic views of the Santa Monica Mountains. On July 3 and July 4, 2024, residents observed paranormal "cloud-like" entities traveling from the Pacific Coast through the canyon. The objects were reported to have shapeshifting and self-propelling capabilities while also featuring a blinking white light and soft luminescent glow. Fraser Canyon is located in British Columbia and site of a July 3, 1884 Sasquatch encounter. According to the Daily Colonist, "a creature which may truly be called half man and half beast" was captured in the Canyon and placed in captivity. The creature, named "Jacko," was observed by locals to possess "long, black course hair" along with "extraordinary strength".

Point Pinos Lighthouse was first lit on February 1, 1855 and is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse in California. The spirit of Emily Fish, who lived onsite from 1893 to 1914, is believed to still maintain the building and is "one of the lighthouse's best-known keepers".

Built in the 1840s, the site hosted a Constitutional Convention and also served as a jailhouse from 1851 to 1939.
Museum staff report "so many strange experiences that there is no other reasonable explanation than to accept that ghosts are all over the place".
